Darren Hron
Darren is one of the two guys on my side.
We met before I started dating Tim, through some shared friends. While Darren was Tim's roommate for five years, he turned out just as much my friend as Tim's. When Tim and I started dating, Darren adopted me, and I adopted him; and we fought and played and laughed and hit each other like siblings.
Key memories- Darren getting all decked out to avoid the death plague (and his overspending to try to avoid it), how confused my roomies and I were by his Mal costume (if only he had waited one year, when people knew what the heck Firefly was!), the look on his face when Tim and I "announced" we were dating (okay, he found us on the couch kissing, and didn't even know we knew each other because we had kept it very quiet), the long talks, mud wrestling, all the parties, the Shining, Nox.
